Working with our Investigator Connor and His Mom Susan

Well it was another week in Valdosta! Due to the fact that people are weird, we set our clocks back an hour some thing to do with daylight saving. HAHA! It’s all-worthless to me! But we had a great week this week we have been working with our investigator Connor and his mom Susan! Connor is 23 and attends the YSA and his mom goes to the family ward. Connor is awesome! The past couple weeks he hasn’t really been to open to joining the church or talking about faith. But this week the Branch President offered to help Connor get some dental work done on his teeth. That night Connor called us crying and told us how grateful he is for the members and the love that they show him and his mom even though they are not members yet. And he told us that he doesn’t know if its faith growing but he definitely feels something growing! That was so awesome to hear him say that! I really hope I am here to see them get baptized! Later on in the week we had a lesson with them about faith.  We read Alma 32 and we talked about belief and how faith starts as a belief and turns into knowledge. We also watched a Mormon message called “The hope of Gods light” and Susan just loved it!  She said that was the most amazing testimony I have ever heard! And she started to ask us about fasting and baptism so we are really excited about inviting her to be baptized this week! This Saturday is transfer calls so we will find out if we stay or if we go.. it’s up in the air right now! If I stay I could stay one more or I could go. I have been her for 4 months! Also this week I got to see the Penrod’s from my home ward and we took them out to Rays Mill Pond the most southern place you can get and got some fried gator and cheese grits! It was great! Well I love you all be sure to check out the new Easter video #hallelujah! It’s awesome! Love Ya!
